  But what about today congregations are they part of the on going man of lawlessness? Lawlessness in the last days?

  I do not know if Nero will be the anitchrist! That sure is detailed infromation.

  I think that the churches had problems some of them left their first love and went back to pagan, satan, power,lying claiming to be Jewish(144,000 class I do not know), and greedy ways of life. I believe the congregations were examples for our time, with the exception that we as christians today need to becareful who we follow are we could be deceived by false teachings.

  So I do not want to become a man of lawlessenss nor want to judge others as lawlessness. I think it is that simple! Jesus made a way for the congregations to repent! Maybe they did but then again were are they? We have letters but if Jehovah was on their side how come they did not survive?

  I am not too sure but is there a scripture that expresses that the antichrist was already on the earth prior to the congregational, letters?

  Perhaps it had something to do with people who hated Jesus.

  I do like the big print it easier to read!

  What are you going to do when I learn how to paste quotes and highlight. :-)

  Anyone's doctor force their hand about being listed as a JW?

  i remember when i was in high school i went to the doctor about something completely unrelated to surgery or blood and as a matter of updating my medical records he made a point of listing me as a jw on it.

  he never asked me if he could / should and i was in no position to object in front of my mother without explaining myself.

  not to mention i would look wishy washy about my faith in front of the doctor.

  Why did you write about it? I really do not care about this topic because doctors and JW are working together to come up with solutions.

  As far as growing up with the blood thing, yes I was one of those kids! I had to go to special doctors who wanted to give me blood. In fact, my mom packed all of us up in the middle of the night to move out of state. It was awful! and it scared me.

  I remember when the doctors said I would die if I had to have a major operation, and they were planning to remove body parts. Another bunch of bull!

  As an adult I never had anything removed, I did have an operation without blood and I did great!

  The bottom line, I never had to ever take blood! I believe the JWs will behave and do all kinds of dysfunctional behavior all in the name of God. I also think they are bonding with others who are like them, the in group!

  I remember when the elders told my mom and dad to move in the middle of the night and not let anyone know!

  Oh well it worked out for the best! :-)

  Even though my family members are not JW anymore, I told my doctor that if they had to give me blood just do not tell anyone. She said ok! no one would know but me. :-)

  Anyhow, so you believe that Adam and Eve washed in this lake for so many days then they were forgiven. Some of those books are far fitch. They sound like fiction to me. How many days did Eve stay in the water?

  hello all... ok, i have a question for any takers: deuteronomy 14:21 says this:.

  21 "you must not eat any body [already] dead.

  so, it is obvious that this is why they could not eat a animal that they found that had died, say from natural causes.

  speaking with a hardline friend (oxymoron alert) tonight he used the above verse as proof that jehovah needs a hierarchical organization - otherwise why stratify the membership?

  Interesting! did you see Revelation 2:4 apparently Jesus removed their lampstands!

  So how did the church of Ephesus go down? earthquake, floods, Roman empire?

  I think I will just wait on Jesus to set up a temple on earth that will not be destroyed.

  you know after the thousand years is up, the camp of God's people, the city he loves. Rev 20:9

  Modern day churches just want to control people with their eldership and abuse of Paul's letters, but in reality Ephesus did not make it!

  So it in our hearts not at a building with men trying to use Paul's letters as an example. I suppose we should have modern day slaves?

  Anyhow, I know that Jehovahs Witnesses actually teach that it is okay to lie!
